The showroom itself is a study in inspiration, layered with furniture and art that together embody the brand’s distinctive point of view. South + English is the creative partnership of Palmer Linwood Smith and David Ebbetts. Palmer, born of the New South, is a designer who also paints under the name Linwood. David, London-born, brings decades of design experience and, as DJE, pursues painting as well. Both bring complementary perspectives — Palmer intuitive and bold, David measured and precise — a collaboration of contrast and chemistry. For Fall 2025, South + English also opens Art Tank by South + English at 313 Space (A08). This gallery is dedicated to original wall art and Art Tank creations — furniture and art fused into one, with painted cabinet fronts, tabletops and drawers that transform utility into expression.
