Our vision changed when we perceived the loom as a spring and the fabric as a river. It didn’t happen long time ago. Reliving our history, retracing the steps, understanding how it has been handed down through three generations, makes us think to a river that flows beyond us and, perhaps, despite us. It took 70 years to understand the creative, constantly renewing power of our looms. There is a red thread connecting three generations and binds a family history, like the interweaving of warp threads with weft yarns: the material changes, the colors change, the titles change, but from the mouth of that loom always flows a fabric that seems to be born almost for necessity. We feel like custodians of an intangible heritage renewed through our hands.
