Crates Of Beauty is a slow commerce furniture and home decor collective based in Joostenbergvlakte, Cape Town, proud to be represented by The Local Edit under the African Collective at Hight Point 2024. We humbly manufacture on our farm in South Africa from design to finish. Our latest collection is a slow rollout of our own woven ilala takes on Ndebele classics, and a lighting range of palm, raffia, and bamboo pendants on precision engineered stainless steel frames for both indoor and outdoor spaces. From creating our own unique designs to hand selected locally sourced natural materials, each piece is hand woven by our skilled resident artisans, and every aspect of the process embraces slow commerce with elevated attention to detail; calming Beauty in full Harmony, down to locally made sustainable robust packaging that ensures your bespoke pieces of beauty arrive in the lightest, most protected crates.
