The driving force behind every Skovby design is a strong focus on craftmanship, details and functionality – and the new collection is no exception. The new designs are made with consideration of the natural and playful patterns in wood, the extension mechanisms, and the Scandinavian expression.
SM115
The SM115 is a wide, oval-shaped table featuring a centrally placed pedestal base and a patented synchronous extension system. The tabletop is split down the middle and can easily be pulled apart, causing the hidden extension leaves – stored in the base – to automatically pop up and unfold. This allows the table to expand from 210 to 280 cm.
SM543
Designed by Per Hånsbæk, the sideboard strikes a refined balance between visual appeal and practical use. The rounded corners and light, floating expression give the piece a friendly and welcoming character, while the well-thought-out storage makes it a highly functional choice for everyday living.
