Bicono by Sean Lavin is one of those pieces that feels quietly iconic—the silhouette is beautifully restrained, but the proportions and balance are so considered it reads more like sculpture than lighting. And as always, it’s the craftsmanship that really gets me: two years spent refining the acrylic etching so the light filters through just right. Not only do our clients love a canopy bed, but so do I. There’s something about them that feels royal. This one, designed by Tara Shaw, is a true princess bed. The way the iron curves feels both grand and delicate at the same time — and that gold ring detail at the crown, the sculptural boucle headboard — every layer is considered. This is the kind of piece that makes a room feel like it was designed around it.

Artel, a Czechoslovakian company, boasts a Chinoiserie collection of custom glassware. This includes three animal-themed motifs that are available either individually or as a set of six glasses (sets include two glasses with each design). A fourth motif, MENAGERIE, features all three creatures and is only available in large decorative shapes. Each motif in the collection features an exquisitely hand-engraved and sandblasted image of its subject surrounded by sumptuous depictions of foliage, fruits and silk tassels. Popular colors include black, ink and red.
