Since 1911, Hickory Chair, an iconic furniture maker located in Hickory, North Carolina, has hand made nearly 90% of its entire wood and upholstery assortment. Each piece is made by hand, custom to order. Our workroom makes an extensive assortment of configurable wood and upholstered items that create an extensive range from classic, continental to modern. Our designer licensed collections include Suzanne Kasler, David Phoenix, Ray Booth, Mariette Himes Gomez, Kim Scodro and Susan Hable. In addition, we have licensed furniture collections with the James River Plantations, the Winterthur Estate Museum and Pearson Upholstery.
